Default 95 Caddy vs 5.0 Mustang

My old caddy with a chip, straight pipe instead of cat and resonator, and magnaflows vs my roommates 5.0 with only flowmasters

Best time in the Caddy was 11.7 @ 93 in the 1000 ft with a 2.2 60ft. Mustangs best was in the video. 12.02 @ 86

The exhaust you hear is from the caddy, same with the chirp of the tires going into 2nd

He now has 3.73's, trickflow intake, and 275's on back. This summer we're rebuilding the motor and installing gt40p heads along with a cam or new springs. After that I guess we'll see how much nitrous it takes to beat me lol

No. Because a boat with leather just beat a Mustang.

So? It would have been the same outcome with a T/A or Camaro that was made during the same time.

It shows that 95's didn't have the Northstar yet. It still had the 4.9 tbi motor. The OP stated it was chipped and I don't think you can chip a Northstar.

Hur Hur Hur!

But seriously, that caddy would have beat a Camaro or T/A that was made during the same period as the 5.0. Really not that big of a deal..

But seriously you are wrong. I have had a slew of 350 Tpi cars and have driven them to a best of 13.9's bone stock. My cousin has one and it ran 13.99 on street tires. Its all in managing the torque off the line. They are consistent 14-14.2 runners.

Now if we are talking 305 tpi cars then I agree. You can't just say the car of the same era would get beat. Let's not talk about tbi thats a waste of typing

Yes, and there have been people hitting high 12s in stock LS1 fbodies. It's not the norm though.

Yes 13.9 is not the norm but 14-14.2 is and thats enough to beat a gt mustang.
