Default Larry Larson runs 6.95 @ 209 after a 1200 mile road trip! (VIDEO)

Larry Larson wins his 3rd, consecutive Drag Week & makes the first 6 second pass of Drag Week history, make sure to watch the whole video! Larry is one of the nicest guys in the drag racing community. The competition between him and Jeff Lutz was so damn cool to watch all week, The Lutz family is also one of the most friendly groups of people I've hung out with, great folks all around at Drag Week!

Jeff was only a few tenths behind Larry but shelled ht emotor pretty good on his last pass in Columbus, but still maed it and joined the 200MPH club making 3 different 200MPH passes during the week!

What an unbelievable end to an unbelievable week!!!

Congrats to Larry & gang!

Street car my ***.

Still, the fact that the car CAN be driven on the street for long distances & then rip off a 6sec pass is nothing short of impressive.

They pull down pro stocks like what, every pass???

NHRA Pro-Stockers run ~6:60s... They're also limited to 500ci. and N/A

The motors either a 555 or 572 Moran built Twin Turbo deal.

This guys shop is about 45 minutes from my place.

That is also very much a street car. Same tires used on the track are used on the street. Kinda cool...

You are seriously arguing this? WTF

That car is never trailered to the track, I'll call it a street car any day of the week, especially when people trailer their 12 second fbody's to the damn track!

Quoted for truth. This might be a street car where law enforcement doesn't exist. Wouldn't make it 10 seconds on the road in my neck of the woods. Any car yankin 5 sticks back is a race car, sorry.

Funny car cage. You'd be an idiot to drive around without a helmet on, and driving with a helmet on is illegal.

With that theory, you might as well say that any car with Nitrous is not a street car. Or any car with slicks, or any car with a Big blower.

STFU and quit bitching about his car. It's a street car that has run 6:90s.

I guess you can't read well. I love the car, never bitched about it one peep. Get a clue.

Why would you need to drive around with a helmet on? It's perfectly tame on the street

Because there are chromoly bars inches from your head. You should never drive a car with a cage like that without an SA rated helmet on. That's pretty common knowledge. You hit your head on that when some idiot runs a red light and your head is mush. Again, I love the car, and I'm not arguing it can't handle being driven anywhere, but its not something you can drive to work everyday, so in my opinion, its not a street car at all.

Major props to Larry for building a badass car and driving it all those miles to the track!

I can't say that car would pass for a "street car" according to the local authorities in VA, but still quite an achievement to say the least!
