That's going to be a sweet swap! If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for your the 5.3L? Reason I ask is, I am looking to do a swap and I think the local yards are ridiculously high on their prices. You can pm if you don't want to put it out there.

Hoping it'll be in the truck and running this winter I still have alot of parts to get

$950 with 24k miles some said it was a high price but it was a good price for the miles and for what is around here

did you get a warranty with that engine? if not it looks like a reman engine because of the tattle tale on the core plug on the head.

however, great looking truck.

Thats the first LSXRT intake i have seen on an engine, and i will say, its HIDEOUS looking.

warranty is long gone. I got it in April and it came with a 90 day warranty lol

yeah the intake isn't that great looking but for a price of 650 I couldn't complaint too much and it looks much better and will perform much before than the factory truck intake

How is the project coming, any updates ?

no updates unfortunately, been focusing on insulating my garage and getting things done in there, and then had to get my Jimmy ready for winter driving, and now having to work on my roommates braking system so I don't have to take her to work every morning.
