Default Went to Sebring Int'l Raceway, ran into GMHTP's STI Killer

Good day for racing! Chatted for a bit with Justin@GMHTP about the car and its setup and the GMHTP boys were kind enough to let me snap some pics. Great meeting ya! There was also a good crowd of Mustangs and Germans. Link to STI Killer - http://www.gmhightechperformance.com...ler/index.html

Here are some quick pics.

It's awesome in person. I've been following it too. Great project.

Just read all the articles today. Looks like with

-Koni S/A's
-BMR Springs
-LCA/ Panhard Bar
-Sway Bars
-CTS-V Brake Kit
-NT01 295 tires all around

they were matching a stock STI in lap times, not bad. They said the STI was out braking them still so I don't know what they are gonna do to help it out anymore.

Look like they switch out the Caddy calipers for Baer's 6S calipers.

If you look closely, you'll see that they did yet another brake upgrade, this time with aftermarket calipers. I'll be very interested to see how these brakes did over the CTS-V setup...

Did they do the rear brakes too, or just the fronts like before?

I cant imagine they gained much braking going from 6 piston brembos to 6 piston baer's but who knows.

Well the brakes on the STi Killer has been a source of many of the cars problems. Turned out to be a wheel speed sensor issue that was causing the erratic braking issues they had from time-to-time. I believe they are now back to the 4-piston CTS-V brakes.
