i was in our garage tonight fixin up my family DD car and decided to take some pics for you guys. me and a friend of mine rent this old workshop and you can see that we share interest.
on the pics you see his 79 T/A w/400 poncho, his girlfriends late 80's firebird and my 4 th gen.
yes we are aware of the color on the bird, they got it like that. and it will be painted in some other color before it hits the streata agen.

yes the garage is filthy.. when i took the pictures i was just starting to clean up after swapping boddys on the family car.
actually both my camaro and the T/A are really dusty. my got a really nice paintjob in 08, and has bin sitting in the garage since, custom black color and really nice clear code, i've also painted the bottom, wheel arches, and what is not new in the undercarrage was sanblasted and painted,
and btw.. all this trash are the parts from what i was doing when i took the photos, its usually cleaner than this,

thanks guys, only the 4th gen is mine though.
i am a life long 2nd fan, and honestly think that those are one of the prettiest cars ever made.
i bought a 2nd gen when i was 16 and worked alot on it before i got the licenses,
it was a 81 Camaro z28 that i ended up selling and regretting it ever since.
i actually thing the 78-81 camaro's has bin really underrated as a classic, and that it will change.
funny thing though, that as much as i adored those cars, i really did not like the way they drove and ride. but today one of my dreams is to build a pro touring LS powered one, with proper suspenion/steering

nice collection there, ive got a 79 z28 sitting at my parents house that ive had since i was 18 (gift from my mom) i plan to start tearing into it soon and getting it back on the road again. Needs to be all redone should be a fun project. I agree that the 78-81 get no love
