Default 2002 Camaro SS SDPC 402 Idle on RT-S Track Setup

I moved the SS out of the garage today to replace an overhead light and shot a quick cell phone video with the track setup still mounted .... I thought I would share!

From the first shake down day in a previous post ...

Best overall run out of 11 was ...

0.895 RT
1.933 60'
7.544 ET
103.32 MPH

... best RT was 0.573

... best 60' was 1.794

... best ET was 7.536

... best MPH was 106.00

All spinning past the tree ... no line lock or 2-step and heel-toeing the burnouts (not easy).

The whole post is here ... https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-raci...s-103-mph.html

i agree with ya op those few lil mods will really help at the track, line lock is the way to go, yes some live by heal n toe, but i have so many back and leg issues its very hard for me to do that, sounds dumb i know but im going for a huge back operation very soon, car looks sick though, only things i would do is stainless fill ins/tint and its perfect, all the hard work you have done has came out to be one sweet ride

Thanks Bob .... the line lock, EmblemPros switch plate and a pair of rear DA coil overs are sitting in the garage cabinet and the 2-Step is on its way. Yea, I am thinking those will significantly my reduce times and 60'. Seat time will help alot too.

I am not a huge fan of the fill-ins ... they look ok, but I am not much into spending money on appearance. The SLP grill and the "Berger" were splurges. The car had tint when I bought it, but after a $100 tint ticket in my Lightning (sold) a few years ago in the town to our south, I removed it. Besides, at the track, I like being able to see unhindered.

By the way, good luck with your surgery.

I would be at Commerce this year, but I would be banned for no roll bar. I am hoping for next year though, especially, if SDPC continues to pay entry fees. I am afraid it is going to only be two 1/8 mile local tracks and maybe a few 1/4 mile runs at two tracks that are not so local this year.
