Default My Turbo Camaro at the drag strip.

I learned that i need to practice more.

I only tried 3 times, and I failed all tree times.

I was also only on 7 lbs of boost, and i had planned on turning it up to 12, but i never got a good launch, so i never did.

I was hitting rev limiter in 4th gear anyway, so i need so swap gears from my 4.11s to a 3.55

this was like a 12.3 at 128mph lol
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Js0b3UigvgA

and this was a measly 11.7 at 129 mph
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xyhB_1_Sk8

Neither runs I am proud of, but not a bad MPH for an LT1 on 7 lbs I guess.

That car is so quiet! Definitely has some good potential if you can launch it well.

What's done to it?

And do you really need to drop it down to 3.55s? You're just hitting the limiter as you cross the 1320...

it's a 383 lt1, home lt4 ported heads, single plane intake, blow through, gt42 turbo, E85.

the 129 mph run was on the limiter a little more.

all runs we're on low boost (7lbs). I am turning it up soon to 12, then even higher.

Why not just try going up in tire size?

thanks guys!

whenever I get some time, I'll take it back.

I'm going to use the two step this time, and do a better burnout.

Think a Line Lock would help for a better/longer burnout?

Are you running full exhaust? I would think that would be really bad for back pressure, especially with a 383. Depends on the size of your turbo and downpipe size. It looks like and sonds quiet enough to be a magnaflow. I run the same catback except I have a cutout that dumps about 5ft after the turbo in front of the driver seat. Let that motor breath. An electric cutout is cheap and you will probably pick up 50rwhp, no joke.

What kind of rear are you on?

What turbo/kit are you runing? Did you dyno it? Thats great mph for 7lbs.

Post some picks.

Here is a pic of when it was in work

thats 4.5 inch piping on the "down pipe" and it splits into dual 3 inch mandrel bent piping over the axle on each side exhaust. dynomax bullet mufflers.

this is how it sits now, it needs some attention.

As far as the dyno, i havent re-dynoed since i changed some things. something was wrong on this dyno run. as you can see, it flat lines at 4800 rpms.

i have since changed the timing by 1 deg, and adjusted fuel AFR to 11.5:1 at WOT.
