I've heard that the texas mile track is in dire need of a resurface. This just proves it does. The guy is lucky the chute kept it from flipping.

thanks for sharing

The surface can surely use some attention before someone gets hurt. We are very thankful no major damage was done.

Damn that's scary.

That track is downright dangerous, well played on the drivers end.

At 2:17 looks like the chute unsettled the car the left rear tire was off the ground.

Not sure why people are blaming the track when it was clearly the parachutes fault considering it yanked the back tires off the ground when it was deployed. Huge fail on whoever setup the chute on that car.

do you not realize its says the car hit a dip in the track as the chute was deployed?

Same thing happened to the LMR Crew with the Camaro last year. That dip at the end at speed must be a butt clincher! Nice run fellas!

If someone wipes out due to track conditions they only have themselves to blame. Its widely known that track sucks for people going that fast. The driver did an awesome job of keeping that thing lined out for sure. Hope the track gets their crap together and gets it fixed before it claims an idiot's life.
