Arrow 668rwhp D1SC G8 vs LS3 H/C/I 99 SS *vid*

A couple of friends ran a couple weeks ago. Both are undergoing some minor changes so I thought I'd post this "before" race up.

SHANE: G8 GT [668rwhp]
Procharger D1SC- 10psi
Race bypass Valve
3 Row intercooler
227/243 .614/.624 114LSA cam
Ported L92 heads
Yank3200
Pacesetter LT's, Full 3" exhaust w/magnaflow race mufflers
ID850 Injectors
Alky control meth kit
ZL1 Fuel pump
20" 2010 Camaro SS wheels with street tires

ZEXLUMINA: 99 Camaro SS [458rwhp]
Forged LS3
PRC 237cc heads
231/239 cam
Yank SS4000 stall
FAST 102/ NW 102 TB
little bit of weight out of the car

Both races were ~40-125 IIRC.

Digs coming soon.

That G8 gave me a stiffy. Good work with the Camaro to keep up with 10 lb procharged cammed L76. Good N/A combo. Now spray it.

Lotta weight difference there though. Thats a bad G8, if only they got a little better mileage I think I could justify getting rid of the wifes civic si.

figured that G8 would have pulled on the big end.. Just how much weight is out of the camaro I thought the G8 would have won.

That Camaro is pretty stout. I thought it'd have better numbers than 458 though.

Something doesn't seem right here. An extra 200hp doesn't make up for the extra 400 pounds?

You need to read more

Question above you guys was what the weight difference between the 2 cars since the camaro has a decent amount of weight reduction i said it is nearly 1,000lbs in weight difference in the 2 cars.

Damn! Hard to believe they run pretty much next to each other, when the G8 dyno's over 200whp more than the camaro. I mean, I know all about weight differences and stuff, but that is ALOT more horsepower.
