Talking Finally - Photos & Video of my Hella 60mm Projectors & HID's

Here was my original "build" thread:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...on-thread.html

Here is are two quick videos so you can see (I'll add more later)...

Hi & Low Beam:

Low Beam only:

And some photos:

The uptick of the cutoff is really bugging me out. I'm going to take these apart shortly and adjust the cutoff. I want it flatter like my MH1's. Comparison...

Morimoto MH1 in my Jeep:

Hella 60mm in my Trans Am:

Once I modify the cutoff shield I'll take new cutoff photos as well as ground shots.

The one thing I am debating... paint the brackets black, or leave them matching the ram air mesh. Opinions?

Looks even more bug eyed than ever, haha. But no one puts their lights up in the day anyways. Still, the first thing I thought after bug-eyed was "paint that ****!"

Still a badass upgrade.

+1 for paint. Nice job integrating them though.

Paint it is. Flat/matte black, or gloss?

I would say flat to blend with the plastic.

Yeah definitely needs paint. I need those high beam projectors to complete mine. I also need to show you my completed MH1 retro in my ws6.

Thank ya all. I may pull the bezels and repaint them while painting the brackets. Just to keep everything looking the same.

best: I'd love to see! I REALLY would rather some MH1's. The Hella's are 290349023490 times better than stock, but I'm really finicky about perfect cutoff's and output

I've owned my TA for about 5 years but it was basically parked inside my garage, just recently got some free time (coronavirus) to fix some things and just did the hella 60 conversion but the damn bottom spring was bothering me since it was pulling the metal plate too hard and was bending it, also while driving above 60 the light beam was not steady on the road and was moving a lot as if the headlights were loose but when I checked my headlight units they were ok, so I guess its all about the bottom spring again... but I think I found a solution, are all of you guys still running the original spring? Hope it can be of help
