they more than likely used hand motions, think about it smart guy.

you can clearly see the front end go up when he counts three.

I agree with 5w20 about using hand motions yet I still think GTR jumped alittle .
Also don't forget ZR1 Started in 2nd gear at 40mph that's about 2000rpm

TRC's runs are usually the most legit runs. ZR1 owner is on our local forum and he never said anything about anyone jumping, he said they were clean runs and he wants to run the bolt on e85 gtr. GTR just outpowered the ZR1 from the jump, has anyone ever seen one of those GTR's run? from a 50 roll they usually get the hit on EVERYTHING. Look at his other vids and see for yourself.

That's still a 500whp GT-R vs a ZR1 which means the ZR1 makes like what, 590whp?

Just what I viewed. Thanks for clearing it up.

The ZR1 was just simply out of its power band and GTR's usually move out on the initial hit, but the ZR1 shined once it got moving.

Bone stock ZR1 will never dyno 590rwhp somewhere 530-560rwhp SAE on dynojet
We tested 549awhp GTR vs 532rwhp stock ZR1 From 40mph ZR1 won the GTR by 5 cars To 170mph BUT keep in mind he started in 1st And had traction from 25-150mph it was damn close 2 cars because ZR1 tall 1st gear
BTW what I meant from my reply is the GTR really fly after the tune easily 60+awhp 60+awtq gains and yes it ran amazing against the lighter more power ZR1 even with just tune
Hopfully will see more maybe boltons GTR vs boltons ZR1 Im waiting for my friend to bring back his 640rwhp ZR1 to set a race vs Switzer GTR R800

40 roll is a bad spot for us. 50 or 60 in second gear is the sweet spot.

Think you can also see the effects of heat soak on the ZR1 in the 2nd run. Both look like fun cars...

Us?

All the C6's have different gearing than that of a ZR1.

Or course they do but the ZR1 and LS3's have the same 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Their 1st is longer with 5th and 6th being shorter.

Anything can happen on the street. A tune only 09 GT-R usually makes low 500s and trap about 124-125mph in the 1/4 on average. Which is what I'm sitting at right now.

I would say a good race for a ZR1 would be a bolt on E85 GT-R as average examples of those trap in the 130's and give H/C C6Z's a run for their money.
