Default Cleaned up the Ride

Had some nice weather along with a little free time, so I deciced to get my car all washed/waxed and lookin good for summer.

Shes an 01 WS.6
Got long tubes, ORY, Corsa, and a MS3 for power. Put down 420/390.

Now all she needs is a nice lil drop to complete the look.

I've also ben thinking about stripes... Been lookin to to the nose bird and either blackbird stripes or just a dual stripe on the ram air hood. Cant decide between the 2 different stripes and whether I would go silver or white. Can anyone do a quick little photoshop with some stripes so I can get an idea of what it would look like?

Thanks

Looking good. NBM in Direct sun when the paint is good looks killer. I own a Corsa, are those the shortie tips? I know they offered both.

I wasnt the biggest fan of NBM until I actually got the car and saw it in sunlight. The color is very deep and depending on the light sometimes has a blackish or purpleish hue to it. LOVE it!

I love the Corsa. Sounds mean as hell with the longtubes and cam. Sounds killer at idle, absolutely screams at WOT and quiets down to almost nothing on the highway. I dont know if they offer "shortie" tips, but they are the older 3.5" style, not the newer 4". If the tips werent so damn expensive, i'd love to upgrade to the 4" ones.

I would go with a silver overlay on the front bird, and rear pontiac fill. Top that will silver blackbird stripes and door lettering delete and it will look sexy!

Oh yea it screams, I like it.

3.5's I was able to afford it. Lays out a little different but looks good either way.

Anyone got any recommendations on good springs to drop her down a bit? Not looking to slam it since I still drive her, but 1-1.5 inch drop would be killer

Strano springs & call it a day. But once you drop it you really need LCA relocation brackets.

Thanks guys. It feels good to be back in an Fbody. I had a head/cam 1LE 94 camaro a while ago and then a SVT Lightning after that. Feels good to have the feel of a sports car again. The T/A really brings back memories of the ole camaro.

I would reccomend shocks before any other mod on these cars. If you have the money, then get a quality set such as Koni's. Bilsteins are also good for a little less change.

A good set of shocks will make more of a difference in your car than all of your other mods combined.

I was under the impression that the WS6 came with factory Bilsteins? After some more research I guess not. Bummer. Now I atleast got a reason to upgrade lol.

Anyone good with photoshop that could add some blackbird stripes to one of the pics in the OP? Trying to get a good idea of what it will look like.

I believe Bilsteins were an option from SLP. The decal in your door jamb should tell you if you have them or not.
