Default New project car

After selling my last Lt1 to help pay for school I picked this one up about a month ago. Figured I'd do one last lt1 before going to the genIII. Almost bought a C5, then a G8 GT. But Ive always had plans for doing a 4th gen and now recently graduated I have the times and funds to do so. So 4 Fbodys latter it gets one last go.

1996, 140k miles. So far its had a new water pump and steering rack. Plans are undecided at this point but it is going in for paint this winter because someone washed it with a scotch brite pad along its life.

Slapped a reman pump on and it fired up with no problems. Not to sure why this thing gets such a bad rap

It then made 1300 miles round trip on vacation, to the ltxshootout running the slowest time of the day at a 14.5 weighing in at 3850lbs. Broke the trans mount, drove in a hurricane and made 23mpg avg. It was a blast and my goal for next year is 10.5s (or in the long run)

Some pictures from tonight

Good looking car. What wheels are those? any more details like diameter, width, backspacing, and tire size would be awesome. Are you still on stock springs?

Paint this winter, hoping for a 6le rear bumper and ss spolier.

Next spring suspension and ctsv brake swap

Then something to run 10.50's I want boost but I think hci on some spray would work just as well

Wheels are 18x8.5 / 18x9.5 +30 I picked up from another member got some kdw2 for the front so far and need to get the fenders rolled before some bigger in the rear but that'll proly wait for spring
