Default 800hp/737+ ft/lb I5 Audi TFSI

Buddy sent this to me. I think the whole video is almost a spiritual experience. The music, the definition, the work... It's a beautiful video.. Had me in goosebumps. And if you pay attention toward the end, NO EMISSIONS!! "No Catalyst required"

It's a TFSI 5cyl found in an Audi TTS RS.
Watch in Fullscreen HD.

^ It does appear that way. they did hook it up to a Motec. The ports in the head were still there during the build, but they had a different manifold on after with a rail and injectors.

I'd love to get rid of the DI stuff on my A4, and run a stand alone, only i don't wanna lose my radio... These car's are tied into the stupidest stuff.. remove the injectors my window's probably won't work.. lol.

FSI?? VW gives mine to 110k, or 95k according to the enthusiasts. Checked it a couple weeks ago and still looks fine, but changing it anyway. You know about the cam followers, right? (FSI motors)

I like how they blurred the 'proprietary' work like piston design, port work, combustion chamber.

Yeah, I'm guessing that work isn't cheap.

It's not the fallower that is the problem it's the intake cam lobes for the high psi pump. Almost always takes out the pump plunger fallower and intake cam. I am a master Vw tech and can get parts at a great cost. And the 2.5 in the vid is the same motor in all 2.5 Vw but no D.I injecton and to be true I am glad no D.I. We have such carbon problems with D.I. But the 2.5 is really half a Lamborghini v10. Just listen to one rev past 2800 .....

Those turbos spool QUICK on that engine. Torque jumps to max in 500RPM. They probably spool in 1/4 of a second to full boost.. INSANE.
