The outside edge looks like cobblestone...? Also i think the majority of them came in too hot and too wide.

I think the issue with that corner isn't the way its paved, but rather that people seem to hit it at the very limit of the car and tires, without realizing it transitions into an even sharper turn and by then, there's no way of turning further without stepping the back out. Seems its an understeer heavy corner.

It did seem like most of the cars crashing were fwd.. but isnt part of it a public road at some times? And the motorcycles seemed like they just laid it down on purpose

That was my point. I'm pretty sure a good bit of it is public road. A friend of mine just got stationed over in Germany so I am hoping he hits it up. I think its only like 10-15 euro to run.

It seemed like those damn Porches and BMW suvs were doing quiet well.

I think the later ones might have been a result of that car laying down a stream of fluid with no clean up crew to follow it.

Looks like pea gravel to me. It breaks a lot of speed and saves them from having to clean up brain matter. They know that a lot people will be carrying too much speed into that turn.

It looks like a lot of cars lift coming to the crest of the hill, even some of the FWD cars, although I don't see how they manage to crash them. They just keep sawing at the wheel trying to counter steer when they should be pointing straight and throttling out. RWD is a little trickier, but I bet a lot of them lift once they realized they have too much speed and, well...we all know what happens when you have the power down deep in a curve and you suddenly lift off the throttle.

Other than that some of the heavier FWDs were just coming in either too hot of too wide and the car just pushed straight through the curve. Not much you can do about that except hold on and don't do it again.

No i mean on the road itself before the edge. It is 90% asphalt and the very edge, on both side of the paint line, just before the gravel pit there is what looks like small brick or cobble stone.

Hmmm...I didn't even notice that. Maybe it's something like the brick line at indy, part of an original track they left in?! Merely speculation though.
