A few shots from the weekend. WS6 + C6 Z06 content. A friend and I decided to snap a few photos of our cars this weekend. I just recently picked up the WS6, so it's nice to get a few "before" shots... plus having a C6 Z06 there.. well, I rest my case. Anyway, just posting a few of the shots we took. The Z06 was a little dirty and the WS6 was washed that day but still some water spots, etc. I touched them up a bit in Photoshop, just levels/contrast/etc... maybe a bit too much. On to the photos!

I hear that. He offered me his Z06 for a ridiculously cheap price (it's an '07 with ~45k miles but still would have been cheaper than most used base C6's,) part of that cheap price was because we're good friends and he would still get to drive it every now and then. I passed on it for now because I still pay on my truck, which I would of had to sell and didn't want the Z06 as my only vehicle. I opted to get the F-Body I always wanted with no payment, it's not as fast (yet) but it's faster than the truck.

Someone should do one of those Conan O'Brien style "IF they had kids" photoshops of a WS6 + a Z06. Probably would look like ****, b/c the two cars IMHO are perfect like they are.
OK I'll get rid of the numeric 427 badges, but I'm replacing it with the words spelled out "FO TWUNNY SEVEN" in white letters on the windshield.
One of these days someone is going to show up with fishing wire and gunk be gone.

I really like the shot where the two cars are sitting parallel. I remember that old shot we had from way back when I had that white c5 a4 with y2k's, and you had that nbm z28. They were both sweet cars, and I loved driving that z you had, but these are definitely better cars and better pic!
Now we gotta beat this one in a few years, so you gotta go get a zl1 or something, and I gotta get a c7.

I miss that car and I sold it cheap, even by today's standards. The guy I sold it to still has it and he still posts here, so I get to see some updated pictures every now and then.
I don't think I'll ever own a 5th gen... but who knows?

Those are some good pictures I really like the way WS6 rims look I wanna get me some FM10's soon but also could use a set of stock wheels. I have ZR1's on it now and since I bought it in 06 just would love to move up to a nice set of wheels maybe next year.....

Well, a few reasons. Mostly it didn't make financial sense. Yes, I could have likely afforded it even if something broke but I'd rather not stretch myself thin to swing it. I get to drive his once in a while and that's cool with me. I keep coming back to the F-Body, so it's clear that I enjoy them. I'll move to a Corvette eventually, just not yet. Oh, plus I like my truck and having two vehicles.
