My First 10-Second Pass! *Caution: Mustang LS Swap*
If Mustang-LS swaps make you angry, don't watch this vid!
87 Stang, Heads/Cam LS1/T56, 8.8 rear, 4.10 gear, ET street.
My first 10 second pass (in a car)!!! I'm stoked!
1.56 60', 7.00 @ 99.9 1/8 mile, 10.94 @ 125.3 mph. Best mph 126.
The motor/trans was in my 02 SS, but that car was totalled. I picked this stang up as a rolling chassis and Cunningham Motorsports 'transplanted' the setup from the Camaro to the Stang.
This run was from yesterday (February 1 2014) at Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield.
Big shout out to Spankin Time Performance in San Bernardino, CA for putting on this event!
I don't have time to do any 'fancy' editing right now, so here's the raw footage!

And yes,... there are a LOT of things this car needs!
I bought it as a rolling chassis, it didn't even have a hood prop or hatch struts. Every time I was working in the hatch area I was afraid that the rod I was using would fail and it would chop my head off!
