That was AWESOME! Thanks for sharing.
First impressions...the car is a handfull when getting back into the power coming out of corners. 2nd, that transmission is incredibly fast, but sounds funny shifting gears and hard on the decel. 3rd, I love watching Corvette race cars pass Ferrari's even though I lust for Ferraris!
Last, as much as I love the ultimate in going fast, I still prefer watching the "Art" of a driver rowing his own gears (showing signs of aging again ).
Here is a video of last years Rolex Reunion at Laguna Seca with a true 1963 Grand Sport w/377 all aluminum SBC equipped with 4 Weber side-draft carbs!

Thanks backatcha! I like that track SO much better than Daytona for road races! Of course, it's a naturally designed road race track whereas Daytona was built mostly with just NASCAR in mind and I never liked the "after thought" chicane on any track.
However, as cool as that old car is and as nice as it sounds, gimme the C7R every time... MAN what a setup! That said, it's a whole bunch easier to get into and out of the old one... and probably far more dangerous to the driver if crashed, but hey... don't crash!
