Supercharger + N20 + E85 will do that. On any car.

Yes it does.

It's not all that bad. A little sketchy feeling the tires skipping, wanting to lose traction through-out the majority of the run.

I dunno. My friends got a Ford Focus with all of the above, and it's still a turd. But yeah, I can see your point. Imagine how fast it would be at 650lbs lighter and if I did an LS7 swap. I think that may be the next round of mods.

That Cobra is really impressive. Vette needs more than 6 pounds of boost.

+1. Vette held his own pretty well for being down 14psi compared to the cobra. Cobra rolls out for sure though.

Please tell me you're talking about doing that to the Cobra. If so, I'd pay to see that.

Everyone has to do whatever it takes, to take the W. Unfortunately, not every car on the road starts off with 427" and <3300lbs.

The way I see it is, Ford gave me the ability to throw 20PSI and a 50 shot on a 114K mile stock motor. If GM did the same, with the C6Z, it would have freight-trained. But...

Word is that cobra got yanked by another c6z a couple times last weekend. This Z made less power then the one in the video.

They did, and it's called the ZR1.

Agreed - Cobra running more than triple the boost + nitrous on E85, actually wasn't surprising to see the result. Doubt the stock LS7 bottom end can handle much over 6lbs though.

Good clean runs

This is correct. The H/C/I - 150 shot C6Z I ran, got me by 1.5 cars. I locked in with him by the time I got into 4th / through 4th.

As for power level, well, I am not so sure how accurate that is. I think both cars in the 690rwhp range.

I am happy with the outcome against the C6Z, considering how fast that car is. It's gone 136 on motor. With a 150 shot, and my 3900lb pig being right there... I'll take it!

That said, I ordered some parts that following Monday. We will be running again in the near future.

Ironically, you left out (bold) the next part of my sentence that stated "C6Z"

I did not run a ZR1.

Thanks!

I just look at it as either a Win or a Loss. The details are lame. If everyone had the same combo, and every race was to be even - cars would be boring. I chose a very cost effective way to go fast with some old parts, and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

I also ran a few Yamaha R1's recently. That was a fun time! Those tuners must have sucked too.

I am installing/replacing some goodies over the next few weeks. Keep an eye out for some new videos soon featuring the Cobra.

The two pieces that are on the way, that will help the car go quicker/faster are a Spec Super Twin Disk clutch kit and a Daytona Nitrous Controller.

My last outing, the nitrous was just too much. I could not get the tires to hook up on the hit, which is where I typically win the race.

I was also experiencing clutch slip in 4th gear. I have to admit, the Spec 3+ in the car has been a soldier, considering the weight of my car and the TQ it is making. No complaints there!

It's always something. Never ends.
