Yes it does.
It's not all that bad. A little sketchy feeling the tires skipping, wanting to lose traction through-out the majority of the run.
I dunno. My friends got a Ford Focus with all of the above, and it's still a turd. But yeah, I can see your point. Imagine how fast it would be at 650lbs lighter and if I did an LS7 swap. I think that may be the next round of mods.

The way I see it is, Ford gave me the ability to throw 20PSI and a 50 shot on a 114K mile stock motor. If GM did the same, with the C6Z, it would have freight-trained. But...

Everyone has to do whatever it takes, to take the W. Unfortunately, not every car on the road starts off with 427" and <3300lbs.

As for power level, well, I am not so sure how accurate that is. I think both cars in the 690rwhp range.
I am happy with the outcome against the C6Z, considering how fast that car is. It's gone 136 on motor. With a 150 shot, and my 3900lb pig being right there... I'll take it!
That said, I ordered some parts that following Monday. We will be running again in the near future.
Ironically, you left out (bold) the next part of my sentence that stated "C6Z"
I did not run a ZR1.
I just look at it as either a Win or a Loss. The details are lame. If everyone had the same combo, and every race was to be even - cars would be boring. I chose a very cost effective way to go fast with some old parts, and I am thoroughly enjoying it.
I also ran a few Yamaha R1's recently. That was a fun time! Those tuners must have sucked too.
I am installing/replacing some goodies over the next few weeks. Keep an eye out for some new videos soon featuring the Cobra.

My last outing, the nitrous was just too much. I could not get the tires to hook up on the hit, which is where I typically win the race.
I was also experiencing clutch slip in 4th gear. I have to admit, the Spec 3+ in the car has been a soldier, considering the weight of my car and the TQ it is making. No complaints there!
It's always something. Never ends.
Thanks! Will do.
