Default GM High-Tech Performance Magazine Cancelled??

WTF!! I just got home from work and went to the mail box and pulled out a copy of Super Chevy Magazine with a cover on it saying that GM High-Tech Performance Magazine has been cancelled and in it's place I'm getting Super Chevy? GMHTP was an awesome magazine, literally, I have nearly every magazine since the late 90's when it was High Tech Performance. Please, please tell me this isn't so?!!!

Edit: Super Chevy isn't worth a crap if you're into the 4th or 5th Gen F-Bodies, Vette's, Buick GN'S and etc, plain and simple!

Within the past few months quite a few magazines have been shut down.

Just got home, and found my copy of Super Chevy. I had just renewed my subscription and now I get this crappy mag. This is such BS. Last week I got a copy of "Motor Trend" and a note saying that High Perf Pontiac has been cancelled and I "get" to enjoy MT for the next three years. Such BS.

Got my Super Chevy in the mail the other day also. If I wanted Super Chevy I would have ordered it.

LOL, that's how I feel. I thumbed through the Super Chevy that I got and really wasn't interested in anything in it.

I haven't received the Super Chevy magazine yet. I still have a year left on my GMHTP. I will not be renewing when it is up.

Super Chevy definitely overlaps very little with GMHTP. I've never gotten a subscription to Super Chevy (except now apparently), but I have flipped through a few issues here and there. There's a good article every now and then, but it's not something I'll look forward to every month.

Shame about GMHTP. Like any magazine, it had a few minor issues, but overall it was a great magazine.

Super Chevy has more of on old-school broad appeal with minimal late model stuff. Sadly, thanks to the inter webs and social media, magazines just aren't something people buy to stay current with car hobbies anymore.

I'm really glad I'm not the only one REALLY pissed off at my unwanted Super Chevy subscription.

You're all right--there isn't a damn thing in here useful for late model performance at all. What BS.
