Owner admitted to it on FB!

Mostly D-bag comments, but myself and another guy asked him about what happened, how he reacted, what inputs he put in the car and he just ignored us all together.

It looks as though it got loose, he left off and it grabbed traction with the nose heading into the ditch, then he just locks up/holds the brakes hard. (All incorrect reactions, but fairly typical of certain types of drivers).

Owner claims to own a 640hp C6Z as well.

Amazing an owner of such a car would lose it in such a controlled setting. U could see a wild drift attempt, a high speed stunt, etc, but to just straight up take off all by itself, lose it in to a pole? I at least would have destroyed the video lol, not post all over lol

Haha!

From the video, you can tell it breaks loose on the 1-2 shift, goes sideways, driver lets off, car noses into ditch and driver hits and holds the brakes.

The breaking loose can happen to anyone. The other reactions (letting off, staying in it, braking, staying off the brakes and steering, etc) are all up to the driver.

Also, 400 miles on the car, owned for 24 hours. Perhaps previous comfort in handling his C6Z led to being a little over-confident?
