Default Howard's ASA LS1 cam

I haven't heard many clips of the Howard's ASA cam. Here is my unturned 2002 B4C Camaro. Idle and take off. Exhauat is 3" no cats, single chamber muffler and turndowns right after the mufflers.

Should be pretty good with those heads, probably could justify going to a larger cam. I went with this cam because of the low lift (.525 intake/exhaust). I also kept stock push rods and lifters. If I was changing the heads out, I would've went with a more radical cam.

How much hp can this asa cam give me just the cam itself? Also you think if i get another cam it'll be much of a difference in power like comparing it to a tsp224r or like a tsp228r? Thats what i like about this asa cam u dont really have to change anything only valve springs

I don't know how much gain I got from the cam alone, but over a stock LS1, I figure it is at or near 100 hp. Mods to car when it was dyno tuned was k&n cold air intake, Speed Engineering headers 1 3/4 primaries with 3" collectors. Then cam and LS3 springs. Also no cats and deleted the PCV. Plus 01-up has LS6 intake stock. Keeping the rest of the stock valvetrain is why I went with this cam. Was more cost effective. Also stock engine with 190k miles lol.

The surge was only barely noticeable once it was tuned. Definitely recommend some gears with this cam though. Car had 3.90 gears and was almost a perfect match to the cam. Would recommend at least 3.73 and up gears.
