I had a '76 Camaro ( inline six, 3spd) that was the daily beater but I also used to own a '78 T/A that was the shiznit ! T-top , 400(6.6) ,factory 4spd manual, and the bright met. blue. I loved that car !

i think wed all like to have the power of a 4th gen but there just isnt anything like the looks of a classic car 69 all the way....i think the 74-77 cars were the worst why would you put a truck bumper on a sports car

I love 1st, 2nd, and 4th gens. 3rd gens just never really did as much for me although I do like the IROC's. Here's my 2nd gen. It's a pretty solid car ( after much time and $$ ) I run consistant low low 12's with it and expect to squeak out an 11 before too long.

Geez can you imagine the potential of a twin turbo BBC OUCH ! Nice car you've got there. What brakes do you have on that ? I've got 12" brakes on the front of mine off of a '79 Olds Delta 98 and a disc brake rear from a '79 T/A on mine. Low buck for sure, but it works OK

Prelude , you don't just need the rear brakes but also a proportioning valve when converting from drum to disc. It's the part directly under the master cyl. An aftermarket adjustable valve is even better to have.

They are baer 2 piston calipers, and single in the back. For the 2nd gen it is a very big improvement over the stock. They are essentially the same as a 4th gen's calipers, so when I see people think there upgrading there 4th gen with them I feel bad they wasted the money when all they need is pads and rotors.
When upgrading my 02 SS I put the Baer Pro system witch is 13.5" front rotors, w/ the Baer/Alcon 4 piston calipers, and 12" r. w/ 2 piston in the back. The 02 does 1.1g's on the e-tech stopping.
