Default My buddy's MR2.

Well while we were out tonight I decided to snap a couple pics of Charles' MR2 in the parking lot. All I had for equipment was my shitty mini tripod I laid on the ground with and a 50MM lens. Boo.

I'm using a new host, so bare with me if the pics go down. My usual host is gone for the moment.

For those wondering it's a GT40 turbo (I believe) and a full race manifold. Internals are stock. On 9psi he put down a little over 300RWHP. Even on 9psi the car will ******* get it.

He wanted a few pics of his wheels/tires. That's why there are more than 1.

I just took these with a flash.

Yeah his front bumper is also messed up.

This is why.

Before the CCW's he had Volk TE-37's:

The reason for the cracked up body panels and the reason he now has CCW's:

Yeah don't get me wrong I love the classics on the car, but if you would've seen the TE-37's in person...man they were gorgeous on there.

My 12" subs were stolen a while back but i found out who it was (a kid form my school) and i beat the **** out of him, and got my speakers back with intrest

I've always liked those mr2s, mod them enough and they can be a beast....pretty much a high powered go-kart.

I'd guess somewhere in the 12s. 300rwhp + very very light = quick.

Those cars can haul when they've been worked on, I remember 25psi from the Kill section had a pretty quick one.

That's ******* bullshit about those rims. How's your friends temper? I can't even think of what I would have done if I woke up and found the rims off my LT1 gone... the first person that pissed me off that day would have been head butted.

He was thinking about getting out of the car scene because it discouraged him, but he put the car down for his new set-up and went ahead and got CCW's.

I believe he ran high 7's in the 1/8th with his old set-up.

That car really needs a wing. looks like it ends all funny with out one. So used to seeing them with one. Beautiful car though. Those original wheels he had on it were GODLY looking.

I love it wingless. It looks a lot better in person honestly.

There's actually another local MR2 putting down 460RWHP on his daily driven tune and 554RWHP on his "race" tune and he's running a smaller turbo than the one pictured above...he's running a GT35.

The best part about the other MR2 is the fact that it looks bone stock on the outside except for a set of bronze 5Zigen FN01R-C wheels.

Now THAT bitch is fast.
