Look again. They are friends and he is just playing around. He's giving a sad face right before the thumbs down and then smiling after.

As much as I'd love to believe the Z is this much stronger than the Ford GT with only an intake and tune, I don't believe this is the most accurate comparison between the two. I read the GT only had 800 miles on it, and dyno'd 499rwhp on a Mustang Dyno. I don't think any of the "fully broken in" GT's dyno less than 515rwhp, and several get above 530. It's possible this GT wasn't at its full performance in the video.
With only a 11rwhp advantage, and a 350lb disadvantage...I'd expect an outcome like this.
I still believe the Z06 would pull a Ford GT with an intake and tune, just probably not as bad as in this video.

a tune? Trapping 145mph in a street car and being able to turn down the return
road without slowing down is pretty ******* cool if you ask me.

In this case, it's a comparison of TWO CARS. So if you wanna see car A performs like this, and car B performs like this......then you need to get all the facts straight first. Car A has its mods listed, and he has also posted his dyno numbers in other threads. Car B is NOT fully broken in yet. So it is NOT performing like most NORMAL Ford GT's would.
I drive a C6 Z06, so if there's anyone who wants this video to be a true depiction of the gap between the cars, it's me. But in reality, the Ford GT wasn't at its full potential, and nearly EVERY other Ford GT would do better against this Z06 in my opinion.
I'm still waiting to come across a stock Ford GT myself. Maybe my opinion will change after that, but I doubt it.

[QUOTE=Lankhoss]Might be a set of ricer excuses if the point of this video is to see "who the better man is"
