we are having summer thunder (same event but summer time) in mid July, and we will have one in the winter titled Winter Nationals... also, if you feel you cant hang w/ the tire cars... we will have a DR class, and a street tire class.
there are cars ranging from SRT 10 trucks, kitted out malibus w/ small block chevys, supras, 240's, of course camaros and vettes...

It looks like some fun but one question if your racing from a dig why not just do it on a track Id think it would be a bit safer a little better prep for most of those cars . I guess the title of the event wouldnt make sense then if it was at the track .

I see where you are coming from... but our streets hook nicely

To me ito would seem that to be King of the Street, you should actually drive your car to the race. Kind of like trailering your Harley to 50 miles outside of Sturgis. OR if the car is trailered in it should be empty of gas and filled at the race with 91 or 93 octane just to make it fair and close to a street car.

actually you can search it on Google earth, along w/ a serval other spots and see all the rubber laid down LOL
that place has been used longer than i have been driving...
we can usually run all night from about 11 till dawn on some nights, or the cops will just get a wild hair and check us out early... one of the few places you will see a car pull the wheels and carry them 10-15 feet.
