EVO vs... Z06, COBRA, Turbo Vette... Ummm yeah. Um this EVO guy has a built 4G, and has this really cool video of him taken out some domestics. Including (supposely) 2 vettes.
A brand new C6 Z06. And a TT Lingenfelter C5. You guys let me know what cha think.

sweet vid ya he got the stock c6 z06 by a half a car and the cobra but he didnt beat the c5 and the evo was boosting 40 psi 
That evo gets up and goes pretty damn good !!!

Yeah I just thought it was funny. He got the stock Z06 by almost 1/2 car, and the TT waxed it, but some other guys on one another forum are riding the cars nutts.

must say that is a nice evo.. You do have to admit that he was playing with the new Z06 and the S/C Cobra.. it said that he was not shifting fast.. plus you can hear it.. imagine he speed shifted or power shifted. IMO i think he was playing.. But the TT vette that was a good vid

Dayum that is a fast EVO. It probably would be able to beat a lightly modded LS7 if it was running the 40 PSI race gas set-up.
I hate Buscher parts though; bad reputation and quality IMHO.

I never said not a nice Evo, I said its a damned fast car and nice, just that it was obviously edited to focus on the Evo and cut out before the TT Z06 started pulling. I would love to have a modified EVO like that as a daily driver.
I'm sure the TT Z06 coulda upped the boost and run race gas as well.
I have a few friends with WRX's, EVO's etc and no car can run that boost and race gas as a street car... its very temporary, leaking/blown head gaskets, blown motors, etc are the norm at those levels as well as regular teardowns even if its running good.
