That's impressive if it is infact a 3.8. Darren Hoyle, a guy here in town, has a GN that he races, among many many other cars. He bascially races pro classes, only, he's not "pro." Just rich. Anyhow, all his GN's, except his street car, have BBC's in them, and they all run deep into the 5's, in the 1/8th, of course. That's amazing to take a 3.8L and do that with.

Very cool! Any idea on the displacement now? I think the staged 4.2 is really popular with GN guys.

You talking about the same Darrin Hoyle that has the red 69 camaro that runs 4's in Limited Street. If so not only does he have bad cars but his wife is bad as hell too!

HAHA! You know the guy! I've had my car dyno'd at his shop several times. You should see his shop. It'd make a grown man cry. He's got SOOOOO many classic hotrods. And yes, his wife is fine as hell.

Dont really know him personally, just seen him run many times at the ORSCA races. I heard he had a nice shop. What does he do for a living?

I assume he runs a car dealership b/c Hoyle Auto was right beside his dyno/shop. His wife's parents own a pizza chain here in town and are loaded, as is his wife. Not sure if he does anything else.

His parents own Broyhill Furniture and the wifes parents have the Village Inn pizza joints.
