the other day i racing this other camaro and for sum reason he couldnt touch me, the first race we went at a 50 roll and i go him bout a car, the second race we went at a 20 roll and i got him a car and a half, and the last race we went at a stop and i spank him like 2 cars.. the funny thing is my car only has a lid, free mods, a cutout with a flowmaster and a shift kit. Well he has 3.73s,shift kit, and corvette tranny. shouldnt he be kicking my ***?? also for some reason i dont have a hard time beating ws6 either? is there something in my car that i dont know bout?

Z28, Trans Am, SS, WS6... they're all the same performance wise. It all boils down to the driver in most cases.

yea,my buddy who did that editing acutally is almost done building his motor the same way, i think all he needs is a cam bearing installations and thats it but his car should be as fast or maybe faster!

Just because you're beating "21-30 year old dudes", doesn't mean you're all of equal driving skill. Your car may be faster, but if you can't drive, you could get beat by an 80-year old grandpa in a Mustang GT. And as someone else said, every F-body from the factory (Z28, SS, TA, WS6, Formula, Firehawk) is pretty even in terms of performance. GM will tell you otherwise so they can justify jacking up the price and they don't want the HP numbers infringing on the C5 Vettes. That's why supposedly the Z28 only had 305 and 310 hp and the SS had 325, 335, or 345. Even though they were all pretty much equal.

It's all about the driver.

Was the other car a friend of yours? What do you mean by Corvette Tranny?? A vette tranny is mounted by the rear end. Your car may just be slightly stronger, but being cocky can get you in trouble, just dont get too upset when you get smashed by a 17 year old in a SRT-4.

yea i know what u mean bout being cocky, and honeslty i aint, the guy i raced is and we had raced before and when we raced he only had me by a fender it was a close race but bout the whole corvette tranny thing i hav no idea bout that, ive asked around bout that and well i think the guy who sold him the car pretty much *** him with no kyjelly!!! and bout srt 4 , i havent losted to one yet, the fastest one i raced was a stage 2 w/ 8 lbs boost but well he couldnt stay with the big 8 that long.
