I'm not the smartest guy in the world and maybe I'm missing something, but why was the Supra in 5th gear?

The stroker helps I'd imagine to a point. I remember seeing the buildup on that car, definitely badass.

Crazy cars.

Just kill the music when the dyno runs start. I want to hear them SCREAM! That's music to my ears.

the SS def has a usuable power band... not so much for the supra, but that supra DROVE 4 hrs to that event (Houston to Dallas), pegged the dyno, and drove home the next day

It dynoed in 5th bc in 4th he spun the tires on the dyno, so they put it in 5th and put more load on the car.

You tlaking about on the SS? because that was the air filter they were spraying it into which I thought was pretty lame too. Huge air filter on that car though, I never even knew they got that big. Both very nice cars. And what's N/A-T???

NA-T is making the non turbo motor (2jzge), turbo. Manifold and turbo and other misc bits compile the process.

They were spraying the intercooler to make it colder on the SS, and they stoped spraying when he floored it.

thank you!

yes you spray the FMIC or IC to get the temps REAL LOW to make more power

N/A - T is the Naturally Asp. motor w/ a Turbo on it

You are correct...I'm no longer running the large K&N that was in front of the IC. Didn't help spraying the FMIC as the car spun the tires/clutch on every pull. The air temp inside the shop was 115 degrees!

I did a total of 4 pulls. The first two pulls we made without the "extra" sauce on the side and cooling the FMIC the car made 870 RWHP spinning the tires/clutch. Adding the 100 shot and cooling the FMIC on the last 2 pulls it made 880 RWHP also spinning the tires/clutch. So with a good dual-disc and some traction it should be in the 4 digits...Not bad for a true "street" car with A/C that I can drive anywhere I wanna go...

The supra's 5th gear is the true 1:1 gear. Also it could have been spinning the tires in 4th who knows.
