Default Bolt-on WS6 vs "Bolt-on" 03 Cobra

sorry, 347fairless, you told me you were going to post it on all of my boards if you beat me, so it's only fair

There's a long story behind the race, but basically I got called out for a little bit of money by 347fairless who has a couple bolt-ons on his ws6, plus 8.8 rear+4.10's (numbers and mods in his signature).

literally a bolt-on WS6 vs 2.76 pulley/ported blower/exhaust, both on drag radials

http://home.comcast.net/~svh19044/it...airlessdvr.wmv

Props to the fairless for following through with the race though, and my beer money for last night

Yes, because cars are likely to just out of the blue, drive across 2 lanes in to uncoming traffic when there are no turns to be made ....moron

as to causing problems, I'm not sure what you are talking about, I'm listening

Now go wash the sand out of your vagina

I only ran an 11.6@122 (on eagle F1's) with the UNported blower, so you would have beaten me too

I really wasn't interested in even running him, let alone for money, untill he said it on one of the boards. I (the alcoholic that I am) obviously jumped on the beer money offer/opportunity of $100.

I'm just talking junk, I don't drive my car much on the street. My sig is just for bait. The video is from 03. I have done a ton of stuff since then and added a 150 shot of NOS. I'm not a ford fan but I would love to get my hands on a 03/04 SVT cobra.

I didn't even think of it as talking junk, you have a fast ride I have a 185 shot on my car, my older numbers were 663rwhp/803rwtq and I never made it down the track because I kept breaking halfshafts on the launch. I now have a ported blower so when I spray, it's over 670rwhp

I don't really call a road with 2 lanes seperating from traffic dumb, but none the less, I do agree there are MUCH better places to race (like the track). Atco was my first choice but the schedules weren't matching.

Where youraced wasnt a good idea, but that race was ok...For a 500hp Cobra, it didnt pull tohard on him...Figured you would have taken him by more than 2-3 lengths. I was thining more like a bus and a half......But nice kill.....

They said it was more like 10 lengths up top actually

On the UNported blower I ran 11.6@122, vs his 12.5@110 if that gives any indication.

Yea, that didn't "look" like a 500+whp car running a 350ish whp car but whatever.

Nice run. So how far'd that beer money go? AKA, what do you drink?

Gee, and I guess parts don't brake and cars don't ever go flying into walls or the like at the track. Never seen a car go completely sideways down the track after losing traction on a shift or the like either. Nope, never happens. I wonder why they have retaining walls. Or ambulances. Street Racing is one thing, when done smart. What you guys did was absolutely foolish. Go find an empty road somewhere if your going to do that kind of ****.

Problems, have you not noticed the absolute crackdown nationwide (and its bad around here...) on performance cars because of street racing idiots like yourself?
