Cool Had dynomax bullets installed! Pics inside

We ordered some bullets last week after not wanting to dish out $200 for flowmasters. The car's quieter than open headers but still loud as heck . I'm pretty happy with the install and the way it looks from underneath . Oh yeah, the pictures show 3.5" to 3" reducers to 3" pipe to 3" bullets. Enjoy.

Let me know what you think .

Yup, straight pipe from the headers. For starters, it's a 69 camaro with a sbc in it that'll only see the streets on the weekends so I wasn't too concerned about trying to make it as quiet as possible or anything. I'll find out if the cops like it or not when I start to drive it .

Haha, yeah, we bit off more than we could chew with it, but it definitely paid off now.

I love the way it sounds too, but it's still way too loud. I took the car for a little test drive and my dad said from about 2 blocks away, it's way loud. Looks like im in the market for some more mufflers .

Thanks for the comments thus far.

get a pair of 40 series Flowmasters on that beast, and you won't be sorry. She'll still sound wicked, and the popo should leave you alone. 69 Camaro+377+Flows= BTW, those are some damn good welds on the install; nice work.

Yeah I have bullets dumped and they sound badass but they are soo loud even at cruising. My neighbors hate me and I think Iam going to take them off. Your setup looks good though.

8Cylinder - I considered those mufflers but just didn't get them because of the price. We don't have the money for that (we do but we just don't feel like buying them new) so what we'll wind up doing is just waiting to see if we find a used set.

LT1man - Like I posted above, the day after we had the mufflers installed, i took it down the street from my house. I did about 4 or 5 burnouts and I'm really surprised nobody called the cops on me

yeah because you can hear them from a mile away they are loud. I was one the street where my friend lives and got on it and he called me telling me he heard it with his t.v. on inside his house.

gotcha. New Flows ain't cheap. I know exactly what you mean about the funds. My wallets always been thin, and my gut always fat. I've been trying to reverse this situation since birth.

BTW, a few weeks ago I saw a used pair of 40's for sale on another forum, for pretty cheap. I was drooling over them myself, but money, wife, kids, you know..... I'll see if i can find the link if they're still 4-sale.

We met a guy that had some flowmasters sitting off to the side and sold them to us for $30. Only if I could've come across another deal like that before I had ordered the bullets. They're fine for now but i'm sure I will get hassled by cops or what not.

LS1SS - unfortunately, the only people around when I've taken it out are me and my dad. I'm driving the car and my dad's illiterate when it comes to electronics . I'm going to try to see if I can get a friend or something to help me with that.
