ZO6 vs DSM
ZO6 vs DSM
You can guess what happens since i found this on a dsm site, just thought i would share it with everyone. Either a 9 sec DSM or one of the worst drivers ive seen in a new ZO6.

The DSM has a Sutter box, who knows that tires and it sounds like a large turbo.......I dont see anything surpising........
On a side note, im geussing a C6Z06 isnt easy to launch with the power they have on a Street tire.
I geuss we will have to wait for the rematch

who's to say how good the guy in the z06 is at driving. but on street tires and on the street it is very hard for a rwd car to launch with an awd car. not real surprised at all with the outcome.

although i have to disagree with you about a "ricer excuse". Going from a roll would give the z06 a better chance for traction, thus a better race.

That Z06 got smoked by a faster car...
Why criticize the driver if we can't see him?
Why say it would be different from a roll if the Z06 never stopped the pull throughout their speeds?
If the DSM lost from a roll and a DSM fan said, "If they would have gone from a dig, the dsm woulda smoke him," wouldn't that be a little ricer-ish, despite the obvious differences?
There are many cars faster than the Z06 out there. There are Civics 'round here that could smoke a new Z06... And YES, I know, they're little shitboxes, they will break down, they're ugly, they sound nasty, they had to spend millions modding, they needed a turbo, I'd rather have the Z06, blah, blah, blah...
That should cover any downplaying to what is obviously an impressive kill for any car to have under its belt... I wouldn't mind having that kill. I gotta find a new Z06 first.
Good kill. Obviously, that DSM had some ***** to it.

DSM was faster today, PERIOD. Give credit where credit is due. Fast car beat by a faster car.

The DSM didnt appear to be losing any lengths in the race. He definatly get the jump cause of AWD but i think he would still have gotten it in a roll. Cept it would have only a bumper. I love my DSM no matter how many times it breaks. GL guys

Hey guys, this is the driver of the Talon in that race.
First of all let me give you all props for not being biased towards your kind, as many would be and have been in other forums and other races I've posted on the i-net.
To put all your questions to rest my car ran 11.63@121mph on a 1.75 60' in that exact shape (air filter/tire pressure and all) 2 days before I raced that vette and we were both on pump gas. The driver of the Z06 isn't the owner of the car and that explains why his launch wasn't stellar even though on a concrete surface, he's probably used to his wheelie poppin 9second 6pd CamaroSS who frequents this board and I'll let him reveal himself if he so chooses :-P
This was a fun race and I'll definitely rematch him highway or track if he so chooses. Also you guys should check out this race(I was playing catchup after 1st gear due to a 2nd gear bog):
