Actually, that is 852 4whp! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
That is truly weak! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

This has come up before, the dyno wasn't measuring its whp. It was measuring it in Kw. So the conversion factor for Kw to Hp is: hp = 1.34 * kW.
Got that from, http://www.futek.com/conversion_prin...convert=Power.
So that Skyline is actually putting out 1141 awhp. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Re: Guys..852/4whp for the Skyline GTR-700
I went back and watched the initial dyno run where it made 444.6kW at all four wheels, which is about 595hp. That **** is makin some serious hp now! What on earth does that feel like launching with 4-wheel drive and that much power! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

i think that thing is running low-mid 8's now. I think he broke that 8.96 run he did.
you boys seen the HKS skyline? <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

The owner even says so:
"The desire to run the car at full power is there, to see what it can really do, but therein also lies the danger - at its maximum power output, the engine will not last. It will fail, it is not a matter of if, but only of when. When it does so, it will be spectacular, for sure - but it will also be very expensive. Then add to this will the costs of the repairs for all the inevitable breakages along the way. Then not to mention the added danger for the driver with all the power on tap. The 8 second passes that were done late last year were with only two thirds of the power available - and we still had wheel spin in every gear - and Andrej was fighting it to keep it in a straight line..."
<img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
But Jesus Christ, an 8 second pass with only two-thirds of the power available?! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
And believe it or not, this Skyline isn't even the biggest or baddest... The VeilSide R-1 Street Drag GT-R runs 8.450@168 MPH on slicks, and 8.612@172 MPH on street radials (275/40ZR17s no less). The car launches at 9,400, and shifts at 10,500. It Runs a max boost of 38psi or 2.7 kg/cm2, and is set to run mid 7s this year.
<img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" />
PS Almost forgot: Stock RBs do come with 6 throttle bodies, but on the GTR-700, they have replaced them all with a single VeilSide 100mm assembly.
