Default my new car

i know that this is an ls1 forum, and i do own a chevrolet, but i got a deal on this so i just had to pick it up. its a 92 mustang notch back, 347 stroker, t-5 tranny, 308 posi 8.8 rearend. it has ported and polished gt-40 heads, e303 cam, msd ignition, and all that other good stuff. also he just put on drilled and slotted rotors, i am hoping i can get time to take it to the track before its closed. he told me it ran 12s while loosing traction, so i think the first thing i am going to do is get some stickier tires for it. let me know what you all think.

I think you need a bigger cowl hood.
You can still see a little bit out of the window.

i think the gear and the t5 are going to KILL you. get some gears, tires, and a real transmission (be surprised if that t5 lasts a couple runs) and that bitch should hit 11's. with a 3:08 gear that thing is gonna be a dog imho.

Taller gear, spray, and a C4 should make that car a monster.

You should be high 11's with traction. You'll need some better heads to take advantage of the 347 cubic inch motor. Gt40's are good street heads but not great for racing. I hate the indiglo green or whatever the color is and the cowl looks alright to me. Need more gear but non the less a great find. Care to tell us how much you got it for?

well the guy i bought it from is in the army and had to go to iraq so he had to get rid of it. so i got if for $4200. also has a brand new front bumper for it. ya, i dont know why he put such a tall hood on it so i am thinking of getting a smaller one. he told me that the motor was built for spray so i thinking of spraying it, but its my daily driver so i dont want a racecar i still need a streetcar.
