Twin T57 03 Cobra vs AMS GT42R Evo! Oh it finally happened, wasnt setup but they were both out so it went down

First run you can see the Evo was pretty late on the hit and then started trucking back hard up top, the run where he actually jumps out ahead was a 45 instead of a 40 roll and he was on the 42 psi setting but he missed a gear. Cobra brake boosted every run, Evo never did, if he did it would make a HUGE difference but he doesnt drive the car enough right now to get to try much with it. The run where he came out ahead, we all think he would have ran away hard but thats racing. Last run the car had a hiccup or something and he let off. They ran for fun, not for anybody else so lets keep the ******** comments out of this thread.
Cobra did 675 on 15 psi on pump gas and has done 725 on a more conservative dyno on 18 psi and race gas, in the colder weather it was making 18 psi on the pump gas tune last night.
Neither had planned to race last night and it was the first time Chris had driven the Evo in awhile.

Ive been begging for this race ever since Ive seen you post the video of the cobra. What a race and what a cool bunch of cars for sure. They should pump the boost up to around 22lbs on that cobra with some C16 and that would be a fun race to see. Did the evo ever get bottle to help the boost loss in between shifts.

We didnt think it was gonna happen because the Evo is for sale but he happened to be out randomly so it got setup. Cobra is waiting on C16 and some more boost. Evo never got the bottle setup to help with the lag. Just brake boosting would make such a huge difference, it makes a big *** difference in the Cobra that spools faster anyway.

Nasty sounding Cobra. That thing is the ****. V8 turbo cars rule the streets! Once that EVO spooled up, it definately rolled out. That thing was MOVING when it passed the Cobra in the second race.

put a v8 on the evo haha and run it on pump gas
we all know awd sucks ***** in the freeway
and give the evo credit for a 4 cylinder car
wanst there a vid of this same car but on smaller turbo beating many many v8s from a roll?
