Default My first 1/4 mile runs... Pics and Video

N/A Pass with only 26* timing, banging the rev limiter..

First Nitrous Pass - 100 Shot

2nd Nitrous Pass - 100 Shot upped fuel pressure 1lb

3rd Nitrous Pass - 100 shot Spinning

First pass on motor detuned and short shifting was a 10.98.. Its a pig with the 3.50 gears and low timing. 2nd Pass was on 100 shot and it went a 10.22 @ 133. 3rd Pass it went a 10.08 @ 134 on the same 100 shot with 1lb of added fuel pressure. 4th Pass it went a 10.21 @ 134 spinning the tires. It seems to be a little lean on the nitrous so I'm gonna up the fuel pill a few sizes and see if it will run a 9.9X on the 100 shot since it picked up a tenth and a half when I raised the fuel pressure 1lb on my low pressure fuel system that works with my nitrous setup. I'm still short shifting it also.. BTW, This motor LOVES the jug!

60ft was a 1.44 on the 10.08 Pass.. I felt it haze the tires a little bit..

Yeah she's finally up and running!! Its a slug on the motor, but it obviously loves the jug. The 3.50 gear, 28in tires, nitrous cam/converter and the conservative tune is killing it on motor right now. I'm still short shifting it around 6800 rpms and the timing is only at 26* so its got 10.70's or 80's in it I'm sure. If it had more gear it would fly on the motor, but I kinda like the 3.50s with the jug. The best 60ft on motor is a 1.61 which sucks! lol Anyways, once we go to the dyno it will be running alot better both N/A and on the spray I'm sure.

btw, I see that you are getting a 9in with 4.11s for your T/A... Definately get the 9in, but I think I'd stay with the 3.73s if I were you.

With nitrous you normally don't need all that gear.. And from my personal experiences with these cars they don't like alot of gear. All of my buddies here locally that have tried gears like that with head/cam cars didn't see any difference and some of them went slower. LS1's seem to like big loose converters and less gear.. Just my opinion though.

I dont really plan on spraying a whole lot. Just a 100 shot. would 4.11 gears be the way to go with my set up N/A
