ok, well i ran my buddy a while back, and ive seen a lot of discussion between whats a better car for the money.

here is a bolt on stang vs my formula with just bolt ons, both cars purchased for a similar amount of money, and both cars are stick shifts, be sure to show your mustang buddies to see who gets the bang for the buck

although it wouldn't make that big of a difference for him, but I'd consider longtube headers to be a significant mod over his.

A more even approach would have been you without LT's.

a more even approach would have been if the formi was stock down to the paper filter , but its still wouldnt have been fair b/c the gt would have still lost.

ya, well the price of my formy was 12k with 24k miles

the price of his stang was like 10.9k

both cars re fully loaded so they are very similar, price is close. a mach 1 is more competition but costs a lot more.

people say headers on a stang really dont help it out, but i did have the advantage there plus i had a lid, but thats why i gave him the hit.

he wants kenne belle to help him. that would make it a more fair race, but next year it wont be a stock internal car anymore for me, but he told me he should be able to take me down with me on motor

Well lemme say that, I had a kid come up to my work and call me out in a 2001 GT with a supercharger, I think it was a vortec, and we raced from a 30 roll both in 1st and I put about 5 busslengths on him. And that was before my Cam.

Ouch guys....ouch. I do have the new mustang, I say race a new mustang with 300 hp rather than the previous with 265 . I have raced a moded 03 gt, (intake and exhaust) and put 3 to 4 lengths on him. And I have also raced a LS1 camaro with the same, and the ls1 on put a half length on me by 80 mph. My car is ALL stock. I will give it to you LS1 guys, thats a hell of a motor.

your the only one in know who puts full exhaust on a stang, a gear, intake, new clutch and goes a half second slower in the 1/4

adam raced andrews stang and it was pretty close, and andrew did i think 13.6 or 13.7 in the 1/4 so i doubt your stang was faster erskine.

but your grand prix with boltons put up a better fight than adams stang.

i should go post that on mustang forums to stir up some **** and tell them bolt on grad prixs are faster than bolt on stangs, lol

yep, i raced a 01 cobra from 60- 110, he might of just had exhaust done but it was loud and moved pretty good. both smashed it on 3rd honk and hung right next to each other the whole way. and i was bone stock besides a lid.

bolt gtp will eat up any stang gt with exhaust, gear, and other bs. i think drew ran 13.9 with 2.0/2.1 60'. then he put some stickys on and went a tenth or two quicker. it was a good race in the rain with me spinning and him hooken and i started to walk him then he let off before i whooped that trick.


in the prix i race a procharged cobra, 96-98 cobra, 12psi and we raced from a 5-10mph roll cause stock tires blow. we were neck to neck till about 100 something then he started to inch me out till 110ish then we let off. o yea that was on a blown/leaken head gasket, with oil pan fill with coolet and oil, whoops

there are some guys getting butthurt over on mustangforums about me posting that and the stang losing.

some guys cant accept defeat (kind of why i posted it there, just to get their reactions.)
a lot of the guys are cool but there are the ones that are hating against the ls1 and one guy called me out and told me to get snake bit
