Default Video from PRI - Orlando, new LSx bowtie block

Hey, we've shot a lot of videos already, but I thought you all would get a kick out of this interview with the Engineer that designed the new BowTie LSx block, since it's GM specific.

Sadly the tall deck version won't be immediatly available (for the 8.3Liter) but with the extra 2 head bolts per cylinder an 2,500hp rating....oh yea, I can't wait to see some people go crazy with this thing.

FWIW they did have an SB1, all Aluminum Bowtie block on display at the GMPP booth.... Not compatible with the LT1, but for those with L98's it's a dream block.... Actually, before I bought my 98 Trans Am, I had a 1991 Formula 350 with a T56. I was planing on building a destroked 350 using the aluminum bowtie... sort of a rip on a Lingenfelter build up that netted 400hp.... then the LS1 came out and it was like... spend $10,000 to build up a 400hp motor, or just get a new F-car with an underrated 350hp motor stock...hmmmmm...
