Default Vid of my 87 Trans AM LS1 Swap

Hey everyone. Well...its been awhile since I started driving my swap, and I havent posted any vids. I made this video the other day just for fun. Its my first try at a video using window's movie maker...so I know the pics move kinda fast, and Im sure the sound levels are weird.

There are mostly pics, but some video clips as well. Just some fun stuff! All feedback is welcomed!!

Oh...and Im trying this hosting site out, because youtube ruins the quality of the vid, and this site seems to keep it looking pretty good. If anyone has a problem with the site, or any reasons why I shouldnt use it, please let me know! Thanks!

Justin

I love it. Wish I would have done something like that with my old thirdgen. Nice work.

Thanks for the compliments!

The swap wasnt "hard" really. Like Ive said before, I did a lot of extra crap that other people wont do. I had the domino effect hit me hard. You know..."well since I have the rear out, i might as well replace all the suspension, while i have the brakes off, might as well upgrade them, etc etc.."

If you were to swap in an LS1 and trans...it would be super easy. Im talking only replacing what you need to for the swap, and ditching the A/C and all. If you do your wiring like I did, it really is almost plug and play after you get rid of some of the unused wires.

Thanks again!

Justin

If you look close at the end of the vid, you can see where it got hit on the driver's side.

Awesome vid and badass 3rd gen!!!!

jmm got it. Slid into a light pole. From the passenger side it looked perfectly fine. The driver's side was done for, and everything was tweaked pretty good. It wasnt a fixer upper thats for sure. Nothing went to waste though. The only thing that actually went to scrap was the shell. Everything else was either used on my car, sold, or is still sitting around in my garage. haha.

Thanks for all the compliments!!
