nice truck. there are lots of trucks out there faster than me. when i went to lightningfest a few months back there were several 1st gen lightnings in the 8's. they were prety much all out drag trucks but still cool.
my best run is a 10.08. another nbs chevy beat me into the 9's so i guess i need to go for 8's

i have tried going higher but right around 19-20psi i start seeing knock and end up hurting my head gaskets.
my fuel system was maxed and i wasn't running the best fuel. next year could be interesting. i am going to try 2wd but still keep it a completely driveable street truck. i should be able to dump at least 500lbs and am going to try running the bigest mt drag radial they make. i am also up grading my fuel sytem and going to run the best fuel i can get localy.

Might have been addressed already in another thread, but why the drag radial instead of a full slick? I'm guessing you're wanting it to be a drive there, pull off the 9, and drive back type of deal?
