Default 145 Cubic Inch S&S Harley. 2376cc (full Picts)

Hello All

Well I just got back from my buddy shop and he just started on my new S&S 145 engine! I had my camera so I took a few shots!

My last engine (coming out now) was a 103 CID with a .615 lift .305 Dur. cam at 14.1 The Pistons were 3 3/8" and it had a 5" inch stroke,(LOVE THAT LOW END!) Fun to drive but had to run 112 leaded Race fuel.

The Pistons on the 145 ARE HUGE!!!! 4 3/8" inch! Bigger then a 454 big block! I put a Pop can in a few of the pictures so you can see the size!

Hope you guys don't mind me posting this here!
ITS NOT RICE!!!!
Thanks
Ross

What type of Harley is this going into, any pics of the bike maybe? Ive been trying to get my dad to do something like that to his Springer Softail 1200. Dont know too much about bikes but a friend has a stroker in his Harley and it sounds sweet.

Its going into a Custom 1995 Arlen Ness Frame. I started the bike when I was 18 and I'm goinig on 32 now! Plated in 95. That was fun! I will get a picture of the bike up soon! I have a few friends with Rice bikes. Not one of them could beat me to 115mph. (after that they flew by!) I dynoed it about 2 years ago with the 103 and she was a bit over 130 no spray RWHP. This should be good for 150. After break in I might put the NOS kit back on.

Thanks man! I just cant get over the size of the pistons!

let us know horspower if you get it on the dyno. i work for a H-D dealership here in PA and would be interested to see what that motor puts down in comparison to the H-D kits and our drag bike motors. But non the less it should haul ***! congrats!

You bet! I have a friend that is looking at buying a dyno for his shop. I hope he does!

I have seen some very crazy dyno runs on bikes! Only the right guy will be twisting my motor! Only one guy here in town that I trust, I'm going to see if I can get it on his soon!

I will post the numbers for sure!

well alot of H-D dealerships are getting dyno's to tune bikes. we just got ours last summer. so if you dont want wait contact your local harley dealer and see what they have to offer or know of anyone else and get your guy and see if you can get dyno time.

Here are a few shots of my bike!

We have some work to do to shoehorn it in! I start the removal tonight!

The pictures are kinda poor! I had to snap a few shots of the engine and pipe to list on Ebay.

Thanks
Ross

A buddy of mine just got done building a 131TC for his FXR. Twin compression releases per head, HUGE carb. That thing is no joke! He also has a 107"TC in a Dyna that runs 11.2s at mid to high 120s all day on pump gas.

Congrats man, enjoy it

Damn nice motor. I ride an '06 Suzuki 1K, but I like them all. I plan on buying and turbocharging a V-rod this spring

On a side note, have you seen those STD cases? I keep seeing them advertised in my V-Twin mag, was wondering what the deal is with them. They look pretty bad ***...
