Default first attempt at "editing" pictures

well i got bored today and messed with some old pics, trying to learn how to make them look better, and unique. i dont have photoshop so im limited to what i can try, i have no idea on what the hell everything does so im just trying to figure that out, first one came out ok, and the second one i think i went a little to extreme, but i kind of like it, anyways here they are, i know they suck compared to a lot of the other people on here but im trying

Good job on getting rid of the haze and bringing out the colors in the first one. You nailed it on that one.

thanks, makes me feel good hearing that come from you.

im using just a point and shoot, i just need to get a tripod and learn all of the settings. ill be trying some more eventually when i get a chance to take some good pics

thanks man, like i was saying, im just using a point and shoot, and im still trying to figure out what the hell everything does on the camera, plus i need a tripod.

maybe ill buy photoshop too instead of using this freebee program im using now.
