I spoke with some people regarding the tranny before hand.
Initially I was afraid of higher shiftpoints due to possible internet BS that floats around. HOWEVER, two respected transmission guys (for 4L60Es) said that the shiftpoints that I choose shouldn't hurt any.

While there is a real truth that the 4L60E can't handle higher RPMs, I was told "That's not a big deal unless you're spinning 6700+". One person having a transmission shop, the other having a 9.4 sec 4L60E that he built himself..

I guess time will tell, but I don't beat on my car much anyway. Hopefully for my sake they're right!

I haven't had it to the track but there's a definite SOTP improvement. I'm shifting it at 6400 and it pulls hard the whole way.

The install was done by a shop, I was present for the entire installation and due to some issues (finding a broken pushrod piece stuck in the head) it took about 12 hours from start to finish. We also changed the oilpump/timing chain which made it a little longer.

Sounds mean. I like it. Good video too. I hate when people set the camera two feet from the exhaust and rev it up. The way you did it you can actually hear what it sounds like. No muffled noise.

My buddy has the same cam ground on a 114 and he had the desired idle raised to 950 rpm and you can't hear the lope anymore. So.....for you guys that want a good cam that pulls hard but keep the stealth mode get it on a 114 and let everybody know " its just a stock ls1". P.S. it works good on the bottle too!

It's idling at 850 right now.

There's no numbers yet, but through a stalled Auto I'm not very interested in any dyno numbers, I'll post up some drag times when I get them though.

Your car sounds great, how are the street manners with the 112 lsa and auto? That is the exact setup I was looking at, but I was still debating about 114vs112 lsa.

I'm happy with the 112LSA, I have HPTuners and have a base tune made for it right now. I don't have a wideband so I'm going to a local dyno soon to check the A/F and make adjustments if necessary.

I would recommend the 112 myself, while there was some initial problems with warm starting, I've never had any bucking or surging issues while driving.

As it's tuned right now, the car feels stock unless you're getting on it. The idle isn't noticeable inside the car with the windows up, it doesn't shake like crazy, and traffic acceleration is just like stock. 50% or more throttle feels much more powerful than stock however.

As many people have said before me, this is a PERFECT daily driver cam.
