Mclaren-Mercedes fan here, and wish i could have been there. I have always wanted to go watch a Formula one race. When i do catch it on tv i turn on my surround sound and just blast it. Those cars are real works of art.

they are at that, and way louder than i thought they would be, but it makes sense, 3.0L v-10 revving to 20K rpm!

not since 2005, from 2001 to 2005 engines were 3.0Ltr V10's in 2005 some reached as high as 19,100rpm [925 BHp]

In 2006 engines went from 3.0Ltr V10's to 2.4Ltr V8's revs reached more then 20,000 rpm by the end of the year [765 BHp]

In 2007 engines were limited to 19,000rpm [725 BHp]

You might be SOL. Tony George is a ***** and can not get his head out of his *** when it comes time to make a contract with the FIA for the 2008 + USPGs

Thanks guys! I love taking pics of these cars, but every few min I would move away from the camera and simply look at them decelerate from 160 to 45 in what could not have been more then 1 or 1.5 seconds going down the back stretch into turn 8

Yeah, read an article in a magazine a while back where the journalist spent a week training to drive the car (Jaguar) before they would let him out in it. He said that of all the amazing things about the car the brakes just blew him away. Also, Martin Brundle says that it can pull a teardrop out of your eyes under braking!

Great pics. I really do want to get to see a race but keep putting it off. I think I would choose the Belgium GP at Spa just to see them go through the Eau Rouge section of the track!

I have gone to the USGP for the last 3 years, every year it gets better, I really hope the F1 renews its contract for the Speedway.

Those are some really good pictures, I just have a small Epson digital camera and its was very hard to get good pictures, if I was at my computer I would post them. but they are very poor quality compared to yours, great job.
