Default Finished Pics of my '98 Vette. Here ya guys go!!!

well i promised i'd get some up. Been busy driving it around. I LOVE this car. Took it out and did a couple 0-60's with it. First time out i got a 0-60mph in 4.06 seconds. I have a LS1m Palm Scanner that does those times for me. The thing HAULS *** compared to my Z28 Anyway a couple of before and after's too thrown in here. It took me 9 days from the day i bought it to get it finished but 4 days was waiting for the parts car to get here. It actually only took 3 days of work

It's got a clean title because when the guy wrecked it he got a check to repair it from the insurance company. Well he then sold it to me and took his repair check and and what i gave him for the car and bought an '01 Silver C5 Coupe. I paid $10,500 for the car, bought a Corvette donor clip(rear from windsheild back) for $1,500 and tax. Came to $13,070 total. Then Paint and materials was $250. I did most the prep work myself and gave my dad 2 cases of beer to shoot the parts for me. After a day of drying in the sun( after parts hardened a little so dirt won't stick to clear) i threw the parts on. Took me a couple hours to get them on, and adjusted to the right gaps at the hatch and door.

Well I'm crazy busy this weekend so i don't think it's a go but can't be sure. I was thinking the car show in Hutch this weekend but can't be certain if i'll be there

P.S. and now that i sold the Z28 i only owe $5000 on the Vette. I took a couple thousand and put to savings

Damn. $13k for a 98 Black Corvette. That is a steal. Awesome job on the body work/paint. The lowest I've seen them is about 18k-20k. Nice find and great work.

**** i coulda got you a frame from the Windsheild back for $900+shipping with fiberglass rockers, sail panel, PCM, inner dash structure, 2/3 inner tub, hatch(needs inner repair but easy) and Drivers rear 1/4. It's gone now to a yard but. It was hit in the front passenger rail but the frame is sectionable also

Too bad you couldn't have blended into paint on the driver's side rear quarter. The color difference between the panels is kind of noticeable with the sun shining on it.

that's dust and the angle of the shot. If you see it in person there is next to no difference. If i get the passenger's fender and door in the light when they are clean you can't see any difference. Also the drivers fender isn't in as nice of shape as the newly painted parts. I tried to claybar, buff and wax it but it won't match the shine of the new paint. I may repaint the rest of the car as the rockers have rock sand blast a little and the bumper in front does too. May get a full reshoot.
