Ugh... Its just kind of annoying. They admit they couldnt do it N/A... They needed a blower for such "staggering" performance. Ok...so lets get some production vettes or new camaros with a blower and see were the factory FI field stands.

Not dissing stangs of course. I just think its silly to say they are WAY past camaros and rival the vette when its getting help from positive pressure.

However the vid is entertaining. I always liked car and drivers videos and reviews, even if they did blow smoke through most of it. haha.

Im sure its much more difficult to produce a different displacement rather than bolt on a little blower on a little engine. It works pretty good though.

I haven't watched that video in a while, and I have it bookmarked on my computer . But it is a good video. I like the brief (but direct) explanation of the "Terminator" name that they show in the video.

They couldn't? Seems to me the 32 valve 4.6 Mach 1 runs neck and neck with LS1s stock for stock.

And the 03-04 Cobras sure do run mid 12s with a good driver completely stock...

I read they had the car to a 13 flat but decided to go with the s/c anyway. They were making it good enough to outrun Cobra R's in the 1/4. It was a cool article, I never saw it before.

whats this i read about a 12 second 1/4 mile @ 111mph? as in 12.0 seconds? ive NEVER seen anyone run a 12.0 with that stock, let alone a 12.8.. cobras are sick but thats gotta be BS? someone help me out here, did i read that correctly?

Mach 1's dyno significantly less than stock LS1's. They run decent times through the quarter due to better gearing and a decent suspension. Up top though stock for stock LS1's are stronger there is no disputing that, hence the 20-30 rwhp dyno differences. As for best stock 03-04 cobra times, Evan smith from MM&FF ran a 12.43 at around 112 in one. He also ran 12.89 at 109 in a stock Z28 as well. Best I have seen him run in a Mach is 13.2 or 13.1 i believe at only 104 or so id have to recheck the issue. Either way My cousin's whippled cobra he recently sold was the baddest car I have ever been in. Until my nitrous kit arrives anyway.

390 hp is ******* weak for having a blower, and for $35,000 LOL i could go on for pages about that, and infact i did i wrote a 10 page essay over the cobra VS LS1 for one of my college classes a couple years ago
