You need a newer TC that has a VGA or even better a SVGA cable. It's the same outlet on your computer that you would hook up an monitor but newer TV's especially the LCD + Plasma's have that cable in them as well.

I upgraded...
I got a free 40" 1080p LCD as part of a package deal and I didn't really know what to do with it so I'm not gonna use it as a monitor...hope I don't go blind!!

2 displays at 1440 x 900 widescreen. laptop at 15.5", 19" samsung. They get the job done while i'm at school.
yes, that is a periodic table behind my laptop.
