Default w3s1c0a5t -- Buyer Beware!

I'm a little late in reporting this, but here goes.

I sold this member a MSD window switch in this thread

I sold him the switch with the understanding that if he couldn't get it to work, I'd issue a refund. I never installed the switch personally, but was assured by the friend I bought it from that it did indeed work.

Received his funds via Paypal, shipped the switch out.

A few days later, I get a PM, stating that the switch did not work. I gave a few ideas for troubleshooting. Received another message stating that he would either like to get half a refund ( $40 ) and have "his buddy fix it", or get a full refund and ship it back to me.

I sent out the refund, then didn't get the part back. I got a few PMs saying he'd be shipping it out right away, but that never materialized. I disputed the refund with Paypal and won it, but since there is apparently no money in his account, I haven't gotten my $85 back, and it has been almost two months now.

So, buyer beware. I wouldn't do any more business with this guy in the future.

Once again, paypal screws us. Same thing happened to me. What's the use in winning a judgement if you don't get your money back. I've been compaining about paypal for a couple of years now, what a scam.....
