For those of you who have been ripped off -
Fear not as there is some recourse. You have a few options at your disposal. Some individual states have laws regarding internet theft. Do a search and see what laws if any apply within your state or the one that the person that ripped you off lives in. In some states you can file a complaint online in the buyer or sellers state without ever having to leave the comfy confines of your home.
There is also the Postal Service and believe it or not electronic theft is listed right there on the form. You DO NOT have to mail a money order or the like for it to be theft. Electronic transfer is a valid form of payment that falls under this jurisdiction.

You also have the right to file a suit in small claims court whether through your attorney or by doing so yourself. Often you may do so online again without having to leave your comfy confines. I prefer to do it through my attorney as he tends to get what I is owed me without as much effort, plus he gets paid. If you file in your state and the offender lives somewhere else then it puts the monkey on their back to appear in order to defend themselves or risk losing the judgement to you.
Hope this helps someone.
